I travelled to Malacca with my big family in mid Dec. Unfortunately, the rainy season had started and it rained almost throughout these 4 days. Next time we should go during the summer season as most of the activities are outdoor. I seemed to be well behaved throughout the trip and guess I could go on a plane next year... hooray!!!

One night, after Ezanne's usual 9 o'clock feed, mummy made sure that baby had sleeped before leaving her alone in the room. Daddy found Ezanne in the following position an hour later... we found it so amusing and tried very hard controlling our laughter in order not to wake her up. Godma just can't resist taking a video of this precious moment. Take a look..

I believe all little children would love celebrating Christmas cause they will get to receive lots of presents from those who love them. A good friend of mine told me before that Christmas is about giving. Though we are not Christian, we do give presents to our love ones during Christmas. It's great to see their little faces lit up when they receive our presents.

This year's Christmas is special cos we have Ezanne celebrating it with us. And of cos she get to receive presents from everyone since she is so adorable. Merry Xmas!!!

My parents and godma brought me to Orchard Road on the Friday evening to see the Christmas lightup. We had dinner at Takashima and followed by some photo taking and shopping. I was delighted to see the fancy lightings along the streets. However, I was a bit unusual that night as I started to yawn and get sleepy at 8 pm. What a waste man! keke...

I am now eight months old. Other than milk, the only solid food that mummy allows me to eat now is porridge and rusk. Woooh, when can I try other yummy food? I can now share a table with the adults with me sitting in a baby chair.
I have also deferred my usual bedtime. I used to sleep around eight-thirty. Nowadays, I sleep at ten. I even made attempts at 10pm to crawl out of the bedroom to the living hall to join my godma watching tv after my usual milk milk. Mummy is starting to get impatient with me cause I refused to sleep after my night feed. Please dont smack my butt, mummy... :p

We had a small celebration last night for mummy's birthday. I get to eat my rusk while the adults had their pizza. I am too young to help blow the candle for mummy. I will do that when I grow older.. :)

Staring at the candle

See my cheerful smile..

Starting to get impatient posing for the camera

I sneaked away when I found a chance and new interesting target.. hehehe..

Help!!! I fell down from the big bed last night.. sob sob.. I was sleeping with daddy last night. While everyone was in their deep sleep in the middle of the night, there was a loud bang and followed by my cries. Ahhhhhh, I fell from the bed! Didnt know how I managed to fall cos usually my parents will make sure I am surrounded with pillows and bolsters during my sleep.

And guess what, my godma slept like a log last night. She didnt hear my loud wails and only get to know this incident in the morning. Sigh.. maybe next time I could sleep with her on the floor so that I wont fall again.. keke..

Yippy!! I will be getting my very first passport in a few days time. This passport photo (in pyjamas & with some strands of hair standing up) was taken early in the morning by Xiao Ting jie jie. Mummy & godma had tried to take a nice picture of me the night before but I was a bit cranky & uncooperative.. hehe..

I will be going to Melaka next month together with all my jie jies & khor khors. This will be my very first holiday and I am looking forward to it. Mummy is not sure if I could withstand the half day journey to Melaka as I am so active. This might be a trial for me before I could board a plane next year.. hehe.. Hopefully I will try to cooperate and be a good girl. :)

Baby Ezanne will be seven months old in 3 days time. She loves to sit in her walker at home so that she could explore every corner in the house. Her favourite area is the kitchen where she is very much attracted by the sound coming from the spinning washing machine... swish, swash, swish, swash.. She also likes to go near mummy's oven where she could see her own reflection through the oven glass door. The next target she willl move on will be the refrigerator. She will try to get as close to the fridge as possible whenever she sees us open the door. She enjoys the cooling air and likes to touch the coldness of the fruits.

Ezanne is also quite vain too. She loves to look into the mirror and smile at her own reflection. But that is normal cos she is a girl mah. Another favourite playspot of hers will be the colourful alphabets floormat in the living room. It has became a routine for her to play with the rubber alphabets whenever she comes back home at night. She has developed a habit to use her fingernails to scratch the rubber mat or sofa, resulted in a squeaking sound which is quite unpleasant to the ears..

We plan to introduce alphabets to her soon. Is it too early for her? Maybe we should do it at a leisure pace..

We had been away for just a short week and Ezanne has learnt how to sit. It's amazing that she has moved on to another stage so fast. However, we still can't let her sit alone without anyone watching her as she might fall to her side after a short while... like a humpty dumpty huh.. kekeke..

It feels so good to be back home to Singapore from Beijing, away from the congested city. It was a tiring trip for us as it involved a lot of walking and taking care of our parents. The weather is still hazy in Singapore and I miss the cooling weather in Beijing, though it was quite polluted.

This trip was a good exposure to the Chinese culture and their growing economy. It also make me feel fortunate to be living in Singapore where our operations are efficient and people are friendly and honest.

Ezanne cried for a long time during the first night stay at Er Yi's house. Probably it was due to a new environment and mummy was not around to pat her to sleep. Baby was so glad to see mummy back home at the airport. She kept smiling and touched mummy's face the moment mummy carried her. That was a very heartwarming scene. This is the strong bond between a monther and a baby. :)

Mummy and godma will be leaving for Beijing tomorrow, without daddy and baby Ezanne. The purpose of this trip is to bring our aging parents to China for holidays as this has been long overdue. The last trip that we brought them to Hong Kong was in year 2001. Time really flies..

This will also be a good escape from our hectic work schedule and the recent haze in Singapore. Er yi and daddy will be taking care of Ezanne while mummy is away. So Ezanne, dont blame mummy for leaving you behind okie.. we also have to fulfil our duty as daughter to our parents. I am sure mummy will miss you very much without you by her side. In fact, we are planning to bring you to Australia next year end.. and we are looking forward to the next trip with you along.

Bathing is one of Ezanne's favourite activities. You will see her kicking the water non-stop. She ensures that she will not slip during her vigorous kicking exercise by holding on to the side of the bathtub with one of her hands... smart huh.. At the end of the bath, the whole kitchen will be "flooded" with water. And you know who is the culprit.. haha..

I just finished "pong pong" liow. Now daddy has to clean up the mess I left behind.. keke..

Today is Mid Autumn Festival. My Ah Mah has bought me a battery-powered butterfly lantern few days ago. I get so excited whenever I see my brand new lantern. With my "chor lor" way of playing with the lantern, the wing of the butterfly came off within seconds. Luckily, my daddy & godma managed to fix it back for me (again & again). There I go happily playing with my lantern once again.. Mummy is worried that it may not last till today with my way of playing.. kekeke.. Happy Mid Autumn Festival!! : )

Xuan will be six months old in a few days time. Er yi has started to feed her with cereals few weeks ago and she loves it. She knows how to eat solid food without any difficulties. I heard from mummy that one bowl of cereal does not seem to satisfy baby's appetite.. keke.. She is quite a glutton.

Baby Ezanne is starting to learn to crawl in one direction, ie. backwards. When she sits in her walker, she also tend to move backwards. It seems like it is easier for babies to move backwards in their initial exploring stage. She will put whatever things she could grab into her mouth, including my not so clean fingers..

I think that nowadays babies are very smart, not like us in our olden times. I bought a soft rattle ball for Ezanne a week ago and showed her how to hit the ball to make the rattle round. She observed the movement of my hand and seconds later she had done exactly the same thing. She knows how to hit the ball using her little hand! Mummy and myself were so delighted. Xuan loves the nursery rythme, ABCs. Hmm, I wonder when could we start teaching her ABCs? Think I better leave that to mummy... Mummy hor... keke..

Sigh, you adults always like to take my nude photo..

I can now pose on my own.. nice pose right?

Looks like a wedding picture.. haha..

Guan Yuan khor khor is more vain than me.. dont you think so??

Does my hair resembles "Chicken Little"?

My dearest mummy whom will rock me in her arms to sleep every night..

This is my si yi who loves to play with me and my million dollar smile will melt her heart

Godma bought this semi bare-back top for me. Do I look sexy (aka fleshy)? I will get mummy to take a picture of my sexy bare back next time.

Are you sure I could sit alone by myself? I haven't learnt how to sit yet!!

You serious? Help!!! I am going to fall..

Hmm, guess I wont fall with two big cushions supporting me..

No one around.. Dont bother.. let me suck my fingers first.. chut chut chut..

Doesnt seems right.. mummy must be up to something! How could she leave me alone here??

Oic... mummy was preparing for my bath. No picture please!!

Hmm, I feel like a little princess..

Remember to clean my sexy back.. next time could I try milk bath so that I can have soft & snowy skin? Heehee..

Baby Ezanne likes to bite her rattle. Sometimes she will become frustrated when she could not get to bite her favourite rattle in the right angle. Take a look at the video..

Help!!! I am so mad with the network as I have lost my newly created post which I have spent almost an hour on it. Anyway, I just get to know that Ezanne has not yet started teething. It was a false alarm! Sigh.. I thought she could get to eat junk food soon. But I think mummy might be able to feed her with cereal & porridge in another month as she is coming to five months old.

By the way, little Ezanne can flip! At this point of time, she could only flip to her left. This is an achievement at four and half months old and she could flip at a fast speed.

Hmm, I wonder if you have ever seen a baby trying to do sit up at this age? I have seen baby Ezanne doing that this afternoon. She tried to lift her head and both legs high up at the same time while lying on her back. It was like us doing sit ups. I find it so hilarious as I have never seen a baby doing that before. Like a baby performing gymnastics huh.. I will try to capture it in a picture or video next time.. Watch out this space for it!

Aiyah.. I have not started teething lah. Give me some more time please..

Hip, Hip, Hurray!! I can flip! I can now pose on my own for the camera without any help from the adults.. hehe.. ;)
