Baby Ezanne has been quite cranky lately. She could hardly sleep well during the day and cried a lot. This is probably due to her colic and blocked nose. Mummy was quite frustrated at times cause she could not figure out what Ezanne wants. Godma happened to read a magazine which mentioned that it is normal for the newborns to have colic in their first three months. They will tend to cry a lot and pass that cranky stage eventually and become a sweet, smiling baby again..
Nowadays, my dear friend will be drained of energy at the end of each day and experienced backache due to prolong carrying of baby.. Hmm, I do agree that mummy’s love is the greatest love of all..

Little Potato Head
My angel has became a little potato today. Mummy and daddy had brought her to the saloon this morning to shave her hair. She is now truly a botak. Luckily the hairdresser was quite lenient.. about 2mm of baby's hair was left untouched. The outcome was not that bad as what godma thought it would be. Mummy kept touching Ezanne's aftershave head. She seemed to be quite satisfied with the result. Godma just hope that Ezanne's hair will grow back fast so that she can become a pretty little girl again.
Now I look more adorable than before right? Cos I have a round face and even rounder head... hehe..

Godma is quite upset today. Mummy told me that she had decided to shave off Ezanne’s hair on the 40th day after birth, that will be on 14th May 06. That means that she will become a “botak”. Initially I was quite relieved when Ezanne’s hair had been spared during her full month. However, mummy seems to be pressurized by the relatives to shave off Ezanne’s hair as they said that it will drop off eventually if left unshaved. They believe that new hair will grow nicer and denser after shave.However, this was not the case for some of my friends daughter. They regretted doing that to their babies as the hair growth turned out to be quite slow and uneven. So Mummy, can you not shave off Ezanne’s hair PLEAAASE… She has such beautiful, black dense hair and a bit of natural wet look too.
We had celebrated Ezanne’s full month on 30 Apr 06. Relatives had been invited for this celebration. It was a long day for daddy and mummy as the buffet was split into two sessions, afternoon and evening in order to accomodate the large crowd.
Ezanne’s maternal grandma had brought her to the saloon in the morning to trim her hair as it had grew quite long. It is also a tradition to shave or trim a newborn’s hair during it’s full month. She looked a bit boyish after the haricut though.
Lots of ang paos and presents were received. Most of them were baby clothings and there were toys too. Take a look at some of the pictures:
