Little Ezanne has reached another milestone yesterday. She can read the numbers 1-12 and know their sequence. I had bought her a wooden clock with number puzzles few months ago. All she did in the past was flipping the clock around so that the number puzzles will fall out. She will then grab a handful of the puzzles and throw around.

But she gave us another surprise last night. Out of a sudden, she requested for the clock. As usual, she flipped the clock around and the puzzles fell out. And slowly, she managed to fit the numbers back one by one, without much help from us! I am quite impressed with this cos number 10 & 11 puzzles have gone missing and Zanne fitted number 12 back to the correct position. This shows that she can recognize the number position on the clock and shapes of puzzles.

Next time we would let her try Alphabets puzzles. :)

Ezanne has gone for her 3rd sessions at GUG. In the 1st two lessons, she walked around the classroom at times and not joining in the class. Mummy said that she has improved in her 3rd session and obeyed to the instructions of sitting down.

Last night when I asked her what did she do in class, she answered "Sit down.." ;)

Help!!! Godma is now another year older.. I do not like to be borned in the beginning of the year cos I always grow older much earlier than my peers. There are quite a number of January birthday boy/girls in Zanne's family.. her grandma, xiao yi, GY khor khor, favourite Jun jie jie.

Mummy had bought me a cake and meant to give me a surprise. However, her secret was leaked out by little Ezanne the moment I reached home. Ezanne ran to me, said "Happy Birthday" and pretended to blow a candle. Then she pointed to the fridge and said "Cake". Haha.. there goes mummy's little surprise..

Ezanne will be going for her first enrichment class with GY khor khor at Growing Up Gifted tomorrow. We have sent her for the trial session and she seemed to enjoy it. She had no problem blending in with the class. Not only she snatched the toys away from the poor little boy, she even took the art & craft worksheet from one of the girls and refused to return. What can I say??? Mummy & godma feel like putting on a mask next time when they bring Ezanne to the class. Hahaha..

Zanne is more cooperative to photo taking nowadays. Look at these cute pics poised for the lens. But I paid a price for them as little girl is getting more cheeky nowadays. She purposely poised for me and pretended wanting to see the pictures. Thereafter, she snatched the camera from me and ran off. Only after several "bribes" (in terms of food) she returned the camera to me. ;)

We brought Ezanne to Sentosa Underwater World during the December holidays. We started off with the touch pool where you could get close and touch the starfish and other fishes. However, our little princess seems to prefer to observe rather than getting close to the fish.

Then we moved on to the tunnel. I think Ezanne was more fascinated at the elavator that brought our along the tunnel rather than the sea world surrounding us. Only at times she will look up to see the big fishes that swam past and then back to playing the elavator again. We went to the pink dolphin lagoon and Zanne also lost interest with the performance after a short while. Maybe she is still too young to appreciate. We will bring her back again when she grows older.

Today is the first day of Year 2008. Ezanne is going into her terrible two. I hope that she will grow up to be an obedient and filial child, and stay healthy too.
